Plan the ceiling
How high, how wide, how grand.
Over the dining table
Hang the lowest crystals 75–90 cm (30–36″) above the tabletop and choose a width about two-thirds of the table’s width. A 90 cm wide table suits 60 cm; a 120 cm wide table suits 80 cm. Add 7.5 cm of height for every 30 cm of ceiling above 2.4 m.
43 · 60 · 80 cm · warm 2700K for amber crystal
Room centre
Add the room’s length and width in metres and multiply by 8 for a good width in cm. A 3.5 × 4 m room suits 60 cm; 4.5 × 5 m suits 80 cm; 5.5 × 6 m suits 93 cm. Keep 2.1 m (7 ft) clear below the lowest crystal.
60 – 118 cm · size up for high ceilings
Staircase & double height
Centre the cascade in the open void so it can be seen from every level, and keep at least 2.1 m (7 ft) between the lowest crystal and the stairs or floor below. The tallest styles are made for foyers with ceilings of 4 m and more.

Styling secrets
Make it truly magnificent
- ✦ Amber crystal with warm 2700K bulbs creates a rich, golden, candlelit glow.
- ✦ Clear crystal with 3000K bulbs gives the brightest, most diamond-like sparkle.
- ✦ Over a dining table, choose a diameter about half to two-thirds of the table's width.
- ✦ For staircases and double-height foyers, the 137–187 cm cascades make the biggest impact.
